Hello fellow dog moms and dads and welcome to The Darling Dog Mom! My name is Rachel and I currently run The Darling Dog Mom. The Darling Dog Mom is a pet-centric lifestyle brand dedicated to providing pet parents with tips and tricks to make modern day pet parenting easier. The Darling Dog Mom strives to provide educational resources to pet parents and inform fellow animal lovers about awesome pet products and fun.
I have always had a deep love of animals and so I decided to start my very own pet blog to share my own tips for modern pet parenting and to continue to give my beloved rescue animals a voice in this world! I have an interest in DIY, all natural pet products, pet food and treats, and doggie training as my furkid Bean is a reactive dog and training is a big part of our day-to-day lives. I also am a big consumer of doggie fashion (my dog owns way too many accessories).
When I’m not on the clock or working on my blog, I am also a full time mom to three rescue animals-Bean, Lily, and Sophia and a fur-Aunt to five other rescue pets-Ivy, Binx, Leo, Cooper, and our special needs kitty Tweek!
When I’m not blogging you can find me with my nose in a book, working on my own novel, or binge watching my favorite Netflix shows or hockey games! I also love to be outdoors and am an avid hiker, kayaker, and full time beach bum in the summer.
Thank you so much for joining me on this journey! I’m so excited to be able to have this platform to share my knowledge with dog moms and dads who are just like me out there. I’m so excited to grow and learn all about the pet world with you!

Hello! My name is Bean! I am a 2 year old Pit bull mix (my mom knows for sure because she had me DNA tested). My mom originally wanted to name me Lucy, but because I was so small my Grandpa started calling me “the Bean” and the name stuck. A lot of people think my name is funny, but I wouldn’t want to be called anything else. I’m a special pup because I have reactivity issues, but mom and I have been working on it and I’ve been getting better every day. Mom says I’m really important because I can help educate people on the difference between reactivity and aggression so I guess that makes me pretty special. When we aren’t in training, I love to chew on things and run around the yard. My two favorite things in the whole wide world are belly rubs in the grass and giving kisses.
